Time is a hard concept for students to grasp. Whether it's telling time or solving time related math problems, the students will have a much easier "time" solving these types of math problems with these new tools provided to them through this project. Having hands on math manipulatives for each student will help students gain greater understanding of the math concept being taught. These math manipulatives will assist students with everything from learning their fractions, decimals, and how to use the area model. Lastly, the magna tiles and magnetic builders will help my students improve their motor skills as well as assisting them in grasping the concepts of basic geometry.

About my class
