Academically, the pandemic has been very hard on the 6th grade students that I teach. Recently, they have been sent home to distance learn again. When we return to school, I would like to present my students with the opportunity for virtual field trips since we have been unable to go out for field trip experiences for the past 2 years. The VR equipment would be a great way to become immersed in world history and science as we go back to school face-to-face. I am hoping to give them a chance to see things they would normally be unable to experience without such a tool.
