I am requesting a variety of activities and kits for our STEM bins. STEM bins can be used independently, with partners, and small groups. The ability to work with others is a critical life skill. It's important for people at a young age to be able to work together as a team. This is what the job force is looking for. These highly engaging STEM bin learning activities will provide a way for students to develop critical thinking skills, problem-solving, math, and creativity. Research has shown that young children learn best through hands-on learning like STEM bins. The materials will be used by all students in my class. They will all be successful because they can be used by all learning styles and ability levels. It's especially fun to see students shine who aren't as strong academically. All students can be successful using STEM bins.
