This project will give my students more opportunity to explore literature and increase their understanding on culture and traditions. I want to grow our class library to include books that extend my students reading skills. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. This donation will also support students to handle their emotions through art expression. Under Covid-19 circumstances, many of my students have an anxiety. This art expression will help them to manage their feelings in healthy and constructive way by using a variety of watercolors for painting and building 3D setting with Lego cubes and block sets. I am excited to find ways to increase my students' creativity. Students will be able to simply focus on the art painting material at hand, and not whether their materials are going to work or not. Moreover, they will read books and increase their understanding on vocabulary, settings, and plots by creating scenes with Lego blocks. These art engagements will increase students' literacy as well as their desire to learn about story and express it.
