With this project we will be able to work towards our goal of having a listening center each week. Students love to listen to books and do an activity with it. They simply listen to the story during small group time and do an activity to go along with it. This allows them to have fun listening to a book that they can not read on their own. It gives them independence and fun at the same time. Plus helps encourage a love of reading. It also allows me time as a teacher to teach another small group and improve literacy goals.
