My students all have sensory input needs. Due to COVID, we have had to use sensory items that can be thrown away or that are difficult to clean and thus result in quarantine for the item until it is safe for the children to interact with again. This project will help me reach all of my student's various sensory needs while at the same time encouraging learning, growth, and self-regulation. These items can be easily cleaned to follow COVID guidelines and help my students with sensory-seeking behaviors. These items are so important to our students with disabilities. The sensory items will help with behaviors and learning.
