My students love to read! I have parent volunteers that come in and help read with my students. My students are in leveled reading groups already and we are in need of more books to read. I picked the "Who Was" book sets because these will be interesting when we talk about biographies in March. I have other classroom library books requested so that students have interesting books to choose from when they are done with their reading groups. I also am requesting Storyworks. In the past, we have had these physical magazines that my students can go through every month! The online subscription comes with videos and activities to enrich their learning! I can assign language concepts that will help with different skills. This year we didn't have the funding to do this and it has made a big difference in their test scores.
