Through out the semester, the musical theatre students not only act in a production, but have also taken on leadership roles such as director, props designer, and light operator. One of the most important aspects of these designs are the costumes created by the costume designer. Students spend hours researching time period costumes and drawing concept designs based on their research. Students collaborate with other student design teams to make sure that their costume design aligns with the lights and set pieces for the show. These costume pieces will help bring the students costume vision of their Newsies characters alive on stage.
