Due to Covid-19, donations are down because parents do not have as much extra money to donate to the classroom as they have in the past. As a result I am low on whiteboard markers, clorox wipes, and have had to use my annual budget to buy more supplies than I normally do. I seem to be running low on supplies this year and need more to finish out the year. I have taught school for 16 years and my class needs some upgrades and improvements. My current shelves are broken and need to be replaced. I have used these shelves for the last 4 years and they are falling apart. These are the shelves that hold my students stuff because we only have tables without storage in my classroom. I would love to have a printer so that I can print things right away to intervene and give individualized worksheets for students who need some accommodations. I would also love to have some laminating sheets so I do not need to make as many trips to the work room to get things ready to go each week in my class. With so many teachers at our school, getting things laminated takes a lot of time and has to be done my a para at our school. I would love to have the flexibility of laminating things on my own. Another thing I would love to have is a rolling podium so that I can set my book down while having the access to the whiteboard. All of the items I have selected will help me to organize and improve my class. My students have many needs and I would love to have the means to get our class in a much more orderly fashion than it currently is.
