With new CDC guidelines, public drinking fountains are off-limits. This includes ours at school. Students have been provided personal water bottles to use. However, keeping them on our desk is wreaking havoc on the carpet, work pages, and Chromebooks! These holders will allow them to keep water close at hand and keep our materials dry! Many students are hungry by recess so I would like to include some snacks to help them concentrate better in class. So why do kiddos need water throughout the day! Well, studies have shown that hydrated brains do so many more things and do them much better than brains that are not properly hydrated and fed. This includes clarity of thinking and focus, short memory recall is vastly improved, and maintaining a balance of hormones within the body which equals good moods!
