My students are learning to speak and understand the Chinese language. The headphones with attached microphones that I have requested can be used by my students in the classroom so they can practice their speaking and listening skills individually. It can expand their learning opportunity for the Chinese language and encourage them to listen and speak what they have learned from the lesson. It can also improve their confidence to speak the language. Besides using the headphones with microphones in our Chinese language class, my students can also borrow a headset from the classroom and use it at home. At home, they don't have the target language environment to practice their second language. Therefore they need to practice more listening and speaking activities by using individual headphones with a microphone to record what they comprehend and speak it by their own voice.
