Many of my students are behind in their reading abilites due to COVID-19. With this generous donation, I will be able to send books home with my students. These decoadable books focus on practicing phonics skills they are lacking. I've assessed where my students are struggling, now I need materials so the students can practice. The other books I chose will help me with engagement in the classroom. My students love to read when it is a book that interests them; these books will provide that encouragment as well as several books from which to choose.
