STEM is a class that every student that comes through the doors can feel like a success! In my class, every type of learner is supported with the activities that we use to help students become critical thinkers. When a child can think critically and solve problems it helps them to become successful in other academic areas. During this stressful time kids need a safe place to go where everyone can create and learn at the same time! STEM is a class that can provide that safe space where kids can practice skills in a group setting where they are encouraged to make mistakes and use the Engineering Cycle to improve their projects and gain a level of success through the process of redesigning. STEM is where play is learning!
