I teach full-time online. My students are doing their education online. I spend all day on the computer and phone, trying to help students learn, troubleshoot, and maintain motivation to keep going! I have to make a lot of videos and screencasts to teach content to students. I also meet them online in a virtual classroom when possible. An iPad has great software for video creation. I am a certified Apple Teacher and also an Adobe Creative Educator, level 1. I look forward to using the skills I learned getting those certifications to create high-quality content for my students! iPad apps like Keynote and iMovie will allow me to create content for my students. I can also use Pages to demonstrate the writing process. Adobe also makes apps that I can use to create movies, images, and documents. The portability of an iPad will allow me to meet with my students in our virtual classroom and not be stuck sitting at a desk. I can also plug the iPad into the computer to give myself a secondary screen to work with (to demonstrate something to them while still using the webcam).
