The students in our theatre program spend months working hard and rehearsing for their shows, but they never get to see the final product. By having a camcorder, memory card, and tripod that belong to the theatre department, they do not have to hope that one is available to check out through the school library. Nor will they have to look for pieces to fit the equipment borrowed from the school library. The students work so hard in preparation for and to put these productions on stage, but never have an opportunity to see what their work looks like through the eyes of the audience. These resources guarantee that the students of the theatre program will be able to record their performance and watch it together later after they have completed their week of shows. Giving them this equipment will also help them improve on their performances over time.
