The resources we have chosen will assist all of our students in helping build their level of language to the language and vocabulary used in their classrooms. So many of our students have had a difficult time maintaining their basic language skills and speech sound development skills since many students have not been able to attend school on a regular basis. The “No Glamour” resource manuals are a staple for Speech Language Pathologist through the country and will add to our therapy activity repertoire for years and many children to come. Language flashcard activities, like the “Spark” cards I added to my list, will help children improve their expressive language skills through sentence structure development, retelling a story, and sequencing. These will also help with critical thinking skills like predicting outcomes based on details in the story cards. The fidget 'pop it' toys are a fun new sensation that help with student motivation and will bring some much-needed joy back into our classroom. We are so thankful for this opportunity and are appreciative for all donations.
