Students in the sophomore and junior classes participate in literature circles every year. They are given a choice of which book they would like to read as a group. The teachers have approved these books for student reading in their lit circles. It is expensive to get 10 copies of the same book in for the library. If this grant is approved, students will be able to use these novels for literature circles for years to come as they will be housed in the school library. Students who are not participating in the lit circle will also be able to check out these books.
