Nutrition posters and shirts will bring more excitement and joy into our nutrition unit! The MyPlate example will help students gain a better understanding of potion sizes and healthy balances. Mental health posters will be a nice addition to helping students understand their emotional needs and breaking down stigma. Updated and diverse equipment like different sizes of basketballs and hula hoops will help my fitness for life students participate more. Having new equipment that meets individual needs and interests will hopefully encourage my shy students to try new things and improve their physical and social health. AirPod headphones would be beneficial to my anxious students during test taking. Many students wear headphones for relaxation during tests, but some don’t have access to this. I hope to eventually build a greater supply of these. The podium is a much needed addition to the classroom to help me have more organization and better presentation during lecture.
