Chromebooks are essential in our classroom so that my students can learn how to use a computer before they need to stay home because of Covid-19 again. They can access iReady and Lexia, which are great online programs that help students learn at their own pace. We also do several projects throughout the year that incorporate almost every subject area, so that students come to understand that in life we don't just do one subject at a time. I have found that some parents are unable to help their students at home with technology, so it is important for the students to learn this skill before they are required to stay home either because of quarantine or school closures. A color printer would also help my classroom as we would be able to print things out for our multi-subject projects immediately, and not have to wait to have copies made. Color copies also make pictures easier to see and seem more real-to-life than the black and white copies we get through our school's copy center. Thank you for your donation.
