Research shows that students who have speech and language disorders struggle in the classroom. By having tools that they can use to help them strengthen areas of weakness they are more likely to have success in the classroom as well as success interacting with peers. Students that struggle to say specific sounds will be able to use alphabet and phonics materials during treatment in a way that will help with generalizing their speech sounds. Those that have difficulties with language and grammar will benefit from the basic concept and vocabulary materials.
