Students in first grade have such varied levels of reading. Some are at the very beginning phases of reading development, while others are ready for chapter books. I love running book clubs in my classroom. The "clubs" are organized so that students are reading books at the same reading level. Keeping all of the books organized takes so much space in my classroom, these carts will serve as storage, but also a convenient way to level books for each child. This also helps follow COVID protocols to keep books safe.
