My students are constantly looking for ways to expand their knowledge of theatre, and one of the best ways for them to do that is to be exposed to new material. Typically they accomplish this by seeing live theatre, but during the pandemic, they have been limited in the live shows that they can see. Having access to these written scripts allows them to learn from new stories, a wide variety of characters, and texts that expand their knowledge of technical theatre. Being a newer school, our theatre library is still in need of growth, and a donation of these books and scripts will give my students amazing opportunities to learn.
