My students are first-grade Chinese immersion students and learning Chinese is totally new and challenging for them. But my students like to be actively involved in interesting Chinese games and supplies. My students love to try and explore new things, they are always curious. They are willing to try some activities that have not been done in the classroom before or play some new games and read some new books, even though they have only just started learning Chinese for half a year. I combine various learning strategies, singing, dancing, nursery rhymes, stories, performances, games, and other teaching methods to ensure that students are not bored in learning Chinese!
