Pottery is such a wide ranging art media and there are endless things you can do with a lump of clay. Beginner potters receive the standard pottery kit, with a sponge, needle tool, wire cutter and a few other tools. However, there are so many tools available that target something specific, whether that is a sharp like carved through underglaze with a tiny tool, or a an extremely smooth surface. By widening the tools available in our studio, we can create exactly what we want to! This project will bring a large variety of the available pottery tools into our high school studio, elevating the level at which we can bring the things we see in our minds to life.
