My students are working to become better writers and illustrators. I will be able to use the iPad to model writing and research as I meet with small groups. I will also be able to connect the iPad to my smartboard and use it to help provide better instruction to the entire class. Controlling my smartboard with the iPad will allow me to be in close proximity to all students in the classroom as needed. My students will be able to enrich their writing experience by interacting with technology, as well as, using the art supplies to illustrate and publish their finished product. We will also be able to use the iPad to incorporate photography and video into the writing projects as well. In addition, we will be able to create and share their projects digitally. Because of COVID-19, my students have missed out on some of their in-class learning. The technology and art supplies purchased through this project will allow me to fill in the gaps of learning created by COVID-19 and will help me meet the individual needs of my students.
