I use whiteboards every day in my class to help my students learn the objectives. Having students use whiteboards and markers ensures that all students are engaged and participating. Unfortunately, markers don't last and I am constantly needing to replace them. We are encouraged to use hands-on manipulatives to help students visualize and understand important concepts such as regrouping and borrowing in 3 digit addition and subtraction problems. Which is one of the hardest concepts for 2nd graders to master. With these resources, I have requested I know that it will help me to elevate my students learning to grade-level success.
