This project will help support my second graders in all aspects of their daily learning. Throughout the many changes schools have faced over the course of the ongoing COVID pandemic, students have suffered the most. Many of my students have varied sensory needs, struggle with self-regulation and motivation, and are easily distracted during learning times. These items will aid in decreasing distractions, increasing motivation, and provide the sensory tools needed for students to be successful. We are frequently moving chairs around for multiple groups several times a day. This is so distracting! The stools allows for seats to be tucked under the table and allow kids to go to group more freely. Many of our children are unable to provide their own headsets making technology time loud and distracting for others. We will be able to eliminate unnecessary noise by providing each child with their own set of headphones. Every classroom needs a set of excellent books as well as motivators that help the kids are tasks and engaged throughout the day. Thank you for all of your support!
