These headphones will allow my students to listen and speak a new language at their own pace. Learning a new language takes a lot of courage because you will certainly make a lot of mistakes along the way. My students build their listening comprehension by listening to recorded phrases and stories. With headphones, students can listen at their own pace, pausing and repeating when necessary. My students build their speaking skills by speaking to each other and to me. The speakers on the headphones will allow me to more accurately assess each student individually without taking up hours of class time. It will also give students a chance to speak without all of their peers listening in.
