My students are welcome to check books out to take home to read. When students have a book to read (of their choosing), they are more engaged, and reading improves! Reading levels have slipped since the start of the pandemic.Many of my students don't have a lot of books to read at home. Having a wider variety of books to choose from at school will help to support every reader both in class and especially at home. Every one of my students deserve a larger, more robust classroom library. Please help!
