These resources will provided hands-on learning and extension opportunities. It will provide a comfortabe and stimulating learning environment where students can build relationships with each other that they would not naturally form on their own outside of the classroom. For instance, I decorate my room and throw a 4th of July party before we start reading The Westing Game because 1) it's a massive clue about how to solve the mystery, and 2) students enjoy the fun environment and get excited to delve deep into close reading and looking for additional clues.
