Since Covid-19 and the subsequent quarantine, my special education students have had a more difficult time sitting on traditional chairs in the classroom. When they come to my classroom, I try to meet them at their level, with their individual skills and needs. I have several students, that just can't sit in a traditional chair another minute. Having flexible and moveable seating will help my students get their wiggles out so that they can focus their energy and thoughts into learning, and not so much on how uncomfortable they are.
