Students have had a rough couple of years due to the pandemic. Learning from home and not being able to socialize has been particularly tough for kids to remain active. The kettlebells will be used as part as our Fitness for Life class where students learn about developing the importance of a lifelong active lifestyle. Exercise has been proven to increase a positive mental attitude, increase memory, concentration, and thinking ability, make students feel better, and feel mentally sharp for tasks inside the classroom. In addition, exercise can improve sleep, give students more energy, and build self esteem.

About my class
