I've noticed a turn in my students' demeanor throughout the pandemic. They are struggling to be happy, to focus, to learn. Using Hot Wheels to help teach students about inertia, force, and mass would completely brighten their day. Students will be changing the amount of force to launch each car, adding various mass to the cars, and plotting a relationship between mass and force. Who doesn't love to learn using a toy from your childhood? Help me brighten my students days and engage their minds! After they collect all their data, we will have a grand class competition where students are given a challenge distance to reach with their scientific evidence in hand.
