These materials are going to allow me and the students to be more effective, prepared, and organized.
The highlighters will help us in our reading to highlight important information; The whiteboards will help create interactive learning where students can get immediate feedback on their learning. The snacks help with rewarding good behavior and in motivating students.
The Flocabulary license has fun and great videos that help with both in-person and distance learning in important academic vocabulary. The document camera will allow me to model what I teach with students and record in the event we go to online learning; the headphones will allow them to take assessments or work on the Chromebooks without the audio interrupting the learning of others. The printer will allow me to print extra copies of papers they need without having to disrupt the class to send someone down the hall to the copy room, plus it's in color for important documents that are best served in color (we have inconvenient and limited access to color prints in our school).
Students have requested more decorations in the classroom, so I've put a few posters on the list that will help with learning and creating a positive, safe classroom experience.
