The supplies that I have requested will help students with their academic learning in the classroom. A lot of my students have struggled readjusting to the classroom after online learning during COVID-19, having different seating options will help students be more comfortable in the classroom. Students that need to move their body and cannot sit still during instruction will be given the opportunity to use wobble chairs. This will help them to be able to move their body while still staying seated and focused on instruction. Our school is Title I, and a lot of families have struggled even more due to the pandemic. I have students who come to school hungry, having snacks I can provide them will help them focus on learning and not on their hunger. The items that I think will be especially amazing for these students are the books about Latinos. We recently learned about Martin Luther King Junior and they were asking about what Latinos have made a difference. I believe it will be inspiring for them learn about people like them who did great things.
