The students that I serve are in a self-contained functional skills class. The students in this class lack the capability to functional in a general education classroom setting and master the standards as their same age peers. Using the technology will assist me in helping the students with their reading. Mostly all of the students lack the decoding skills and fluency skills that are necessary for comprehension. However, some students can comprehend through read aloud. Using the technology will allow me to play audio books, passages, etc for the kids to learn.
