Students are given forty-five minutes of play at centers and outside every day. Students would benefit from a wider variety of toys to play with and toys they can play with cooperatively. We don't currently have any dolls, trains, or Legos in the classroom. These toys could help them learn to share and learn through role-playing a family or train conductor. Preschool children learn best through play. By giving them a wider variety of toys, they are able to learn from different types of play. They can learn how to collaborate to make a train run effectively or to build a Lego structure.
