The school day is an integral part of a child’s life. It helps establish early ideas about a person’s self-worth and confidence. Children have faced adult issues during the last two years and tried to learn despite the challenges. This has been a rough time for my students. You will help bring a LITERAL smile to my students by donating to this project. A picture is worth a thousand words…or a smile can brighten someone’s day. I believe that using the Canon IVY Mini Photo Printer will capture my student’s energy and compassion during the school day. I plan on creating bulletin boards showing kids at work and one that highlights their personalities. One example of a self-esteem project will be to have students use a phone to take pictures of each other. The class will write positive compliments underneath each snapshot. Photos on display serve as “proof” that a child’s school family loves and cares for them. The “instant” availability with the printer and printer paper makes it easy to use in the classroom. I appreciate your generosity in this project.
