STEM has become extremely important in education. With new science curriculum for 5th grade, the need for a wide range of engaging activities is extremely important. The hydroponics kit will help students learn the art of hydroponics as well as being able to put it into practice. This gives students the ability to understand the environment around them. The Matter Lab gives students the opportunity to work through the scientific method as well as practicing their observation skills and forming hypotheses based on their observations. The flexible chairs will allow my autistic students more flexible seating and give them a space where they can work on their own in a different spot in the classroom. It can also be used as an incentive for the group who works the most efficiently to be able to use them during their next group project.
