Students need to apply listening and speaking skills on a weekly basis to improve second language acquisition. The chrome books have a great online program, but recording speaking activities and listening activities need to be completed in order to enhance classroom assignments. Most students only have 90 minutes a day to complete the Spanish 1 curriculum in 4 months. Supplies are scarce and the teacher allotment is only $100 for the year. Success in the foreign language classroom is possible and many students extend their foreign language experience by attending a trip abroad or continuing to study Spanish in college.
