Being a first-year teacher is awesome! But, I am still in the process of collecting the needed materials for my students to thrive. The carpet squares on my list will be amazing for my students! our floors are hard and we do not have a carpet right now. My students sit on the floor for whole group lessons as well as for centers. Having these squares would add comfort as well as flexibility to the classroom. Students could create a large carpet with the squares for whole groups as well as move the squares around the classroom for centers. I know they will enjoy the comfort that they provide as well! The crayons are also an important item for us. We are on the last of the crayons that were provided for us. Thank you so much for supporting our classroom!
