Having a copier in orchestra class will help individual students, the teacher and the whole class. In a performing arts class students work together as a team, knowing that they will be judged/scored as a group. Students in class receive sheet music when a new song is introduced, however those who are absent or lose their music will need a copy of the new music. By having a copier in class students can make their own copies of music from another musician in their section at the start of class. Thus, little interruption for the student, their section or the teacher. And more time to practice in preparation for our upcoming concerts and festivals.
