Women in fitness are creating a sisterhood! The materials requested will make a huge difference in the lives of our students. Creating opportunities is what we need the most! Many of the students struggle with mental health, body image, and self-efficacy. When we have the tools to educate, we can create change. As educators, we are preparing our students for their life after high school. Students need to be prepared on how to continue to live a healthy lifestyle, with positive habits, goal setting, and confidence. Through weight lifting and fitness, we can help our students develop all the skills they need to achieve a lifetime of health. Finally, the impact this would have, would continue for years. Women are supporting women, girls are showing up for themselves and showing up for each other. You can have all the money in the world but without time, you have nothing. Healthy lifestyles start with teachers as role models; lifelong health starts with education and experience.
