Having used Time for Kids in years past, I have found that the kids LOVE to read their own magazine! The stories about kids their age, advancements in technology, and world problems spark deep, thoughtful conversations they truly enjoy. All texts that link us to culture and history, strengthens our skills as thoughtful readers and young people. My kids can't wait to read and keep a personal collections for themselves. It opens access to topics we don't typically talk about but are so important to appreciate and study through our literacy skills.

About my class
