The students at our charter school have gobs of art supplies, but not all of them are advanced and age-appropriate. Working at a charter school, we take what we can get. We have plenty of paper, pens, pencils, markers, crayons, and paint, but outside of drawing and painting supplies, our classroom art supply is limited. Every day students ask when we can do a different form of art, such as photography, transfers, beadwork, and/or clay molds, and we just do not have the resources. Although they LOVE drawing and painting, over the course of a school year, they grow tired of it. My students crave creating new, fun, exciting, and unique art projects, and this is why I think these purchases would be fabulous additions to our classroom. We can continue to enhance their art education with more modern art projects that everyone of all talent levels can enjoy.
