My classroom is a vibrant, multilingual hub filled with eager, resilient English as a Second Language (ESL) learners. My students come from diverse cultural backgrounds, bringing a rich tapestry of languages, unique life experiences, and brilliant perspectives to our school community every day. What makes my students so special is their incredible determination. They are tackling the massive challenge of mastering a brand-new language while simultaneously learning complex academic concepts in reading and math. They are creative, natural problem-solvers, and deeply supportive peers who thrive when given the chance to collaborate. They truly shine when lessons are highly visual, interactive, and filled with hands-on, playful learning. They have an immense drive to succeed; they just need the right equitable resources to unlock their full potential.
