These water testing kits would help create a unit about water quality testing, where students will learn about their watershed, how to analyze data, and conservation practices to keep water clean. Students would get an opportunity to get off the computers, out of the building, and right down the road to test the water of the Harlem River! These kits provide an easy to follow, yet highly sophisticated chance for students to collect data about the river in real time by measuring PH level, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, temperature, and nitrogen levels.
