Our county recreation department has started a pickleball league to encourage children and adults to play. I plan to teach pickleball and badminton to my students to help them stay active throughout their life. Pickleball and badminton help teach lifelong skills to all my students. I am also teaching my students volleyball and hoping they can learn to work together through these sports activities. I look forward to my students being exposed to various sports that are outside the mainstream sports that they are already exposed to.
