Our students must complete high-stakes testing this year in May despite the fact that they have not had a "normal school year" since 2018-2019. I am creating a focused learning environment for two hours a day, Monday through Thursday, after regular classes end to help students prepare for this year's FSA. I am requesting snacks for my students. Students have trouble focusing on academia when their stomachs are growling louder than the teacher speaks. Each day the students will tackle a different subject area - some will stay all four days, others will only participate one or two days a week from now until May. But they can't focus on learning if they are hungry. Please provide them a snack a day. Thanks for your support.
