Nearpod would inspire my students by creating a more engaging learning environment, by allowing students to collaborate through collaboration boards, Flipgrid, polls, games, and interactive activities. Students are able to work with a partner, in a small group, or individually to complete task. They become better learners and take an active roll in their learning environment when they are able to openly participate. Nearpod allows for video embedding, simulations, virtual field trips, and other interactive lessons. This allows students to gain a better understanding of the subject matter being taught. With Covid we are not able to take field trips and the virtual simulations would allows my students to view things they may never been able to during their life. Nearpod helps improve critical thinking skills and increase 21st Century Skills students will need to be successful later in life. Nearpod is able to be used with Google Classroom for students who are learning remotely. These students can join in on the lessons and work with the teacher or at their own pace. The teacher can make corrections to their work and offer feedback. My students would be more focused and involved in the learning process.
